We use Sharepoint Foundation 2010.
An announcement list in a site collection is email enabled. The end users send an email with attachments such as ppt, pdf, doc,xls, zip to this Announcement List.
The users follow all the file naming conventions as listed here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/905231
Issue:
- Some emails donot reach the list.
- There is no definite pattern in the emails which donot reach the list.
- "Illegal Character in Path...", this is the error message that we receive in the log file.
Can you help me to resolve the issue?
It would be good to know if there is some kind of documentation which states the DOs and DON'Ts of sending emails to a list in Sharepoint.
